Headquartered in West Los Angeles California, MED-X Drug & Alcohol Testing was founded in January 1999 primarily as distributors of rapid on-site drug testing kits. We represent the most technologically advanced tests in the market today. Our tests are all FDA cleared and can provide results in between three to eight minutes. We are always asked why we represent different brands? As a service oriented company MED-X Drug & Alcohol Testing strives to meet our clients needs by customizing their preferences to the products that we represent. By not allowing ourselves to be locked in to one product line, we can best serve our clients by recommending the test that suits their needs.
By the end of 1999 MED-X Drug & Alcohol Testing expanded its services to include Department of Transportation Collections for safety sensitive occupations. Through our affiliations with NIDA certified laboratories we can service all of our clients needs. Our goal is to provide our clients a legally sound and cost effective drug and alcohol testing program.
Our Medical Director Dr. Richard Hyman is a well respected doctor in Workers' Compensation. He is on the preferred list of over three hundred insurance companies. He is often asked to address whether drugs or alcohol was the predominant cause of an industrial injury. Our Medical Review Officer is Dr. Terrence Sean Mcgee, who organized the City of San Francisco's drug and alcohol testing program. He is also the MRO for a number of other cities, municipalities and private employers.
